Speakers Biographies
Alice Moseley,
Centre for Evidence Based Social Services
Alice has worked as a
researcher at the Centre for Evidence-Based Social Services (CEBSS) since 2000.
Her work there involves training social workers in skills for evidence based
practice, including locating research, appraising research and evaluating
services, and developing associated training materials and online resources. She
manages and maintains the CEBSS website (
www.ex.ac.uk/cebss)
and its database of social care research findings (www.be-evidence-based.com). Her academic background is in sociology, public
administration and public policy and her research interests include issues
surrounding organisational change and the implementation of evidence-based
policy and practice.
