Right!
To take account of
legibility issues future editions of IFMH Inform, from 18 (1) will
produced in line with the Royal National Institute for the Blind See
it Right guidelines. In practical terms this will mean IFMH
Inform adopting a 12 point font and left hand justifications.

IFMH
Inform Profile Raised To New Heights
In 2006 the content of IFMH Inform was indexed in key bibliographic
databases, including the Kings Fund database, for the first time. To
coincide with the associated rise in accessibility and awareness of
IFMH Inform content,

Networking Study
Day/Annual General Meeting – 8th
March 2007
An IFMH study
day is being organised on Networking to encourage the effective
dissemination of information. Speakers will include Steve Pashley, an
Organisation Development and Change Management Consultant, who will be
talking about The Knowledge Exchange: connecting health and social
care managers and Dr John Sandars, Senior Lecturer in Community
Based Education, School of Medicine, Leeds University, who will be
discussing The hype of online communities of practice: insights
from research and practice. The study day will also be the venue
of the IFMH Annual General Meeting. Due to take place at the Kings
Fund, London, details of the event will be posted on the IFMH web

Committee News
Following her appointment as Acting Head of the Kings
Fund Library, Valerie Wildridge has reluctantly stepped down from the
IFMH Committee. IFMH wish to thank Valerie for her valued
contribution to the activities of the IFMH Committee, with particular
acknowledgment to the development of a publicity and communication
strategy during her tenure as IFMH Publicity Coordinator.
IFMH
is pleased to be able to maintain its links with the Kings Fund with
the appointment of Caron Hartley, Research Librarian, as a member of
the IFMH Committee. Many of you will already be familiar with Caron’s
work for IFMH Informs regular column Surfs Up.
