"Increasing access to knowledge, information and the
evidence base of health and social care in the East
of England"
Adequate knowledge and information resources and services
are essential for the development and
implementation of evidence-based practice. Skills
for Care Learning Resource Network in the East of
England has funded a project to increase access to library, knowledge
and information services for social care staff and if
successful, it will provide an excellent example of
integrated working between the NHS and social care.

"Partnership working in Leeds : NHS libraries working
with the hospices and universities across the city"
The Leeds Library & Information Services Project Team is
working towards a vision of seamless services
across the Leeds health community and there are
various projects underway across the city to meet
this aim. The talk focused on two of these projects.
